Session Fee Includes:

(1) 1.5 Hours of Session Time

(2) 10 Professionally Hand Edited Digital JPEG Images (with the option to purchase digital image upgrades)

(3) Private Online Viewing Gallery of the Proofs taken during your Session (Clients will be able to choose the 10 images of their choice for the package)

(4) Full Access to use all Newborn Props offered by Kristin Ann Photography

All Newborn Sessions take place Mondays - Fridays. 

On some occasions (season depending) a weekend date can be discussed prior to booking but will be subject to an additional weekend fee of $200. This MUST be approvedby the photographer before booking. 

Clients will have the option to purchase Professional Prints and Products for an additional charge.

Newborn Portraits are recommended to take place within the 1st month of your baby's arrival (the first 7-14 days are the most ideal time for newborn portraits, but Kristin will take babies up to 4 weeks of age). All sessions consist of a variety of beanbag poses and bucket/Prop shots. Kristin will provide everything you will need for the session, so all you need to do is bring your baby on a full tummy and Kristin will go to work! Mom and Dad can sit back and relax while watching their adorable little one model for their very first photo shoot!

*Please note, if your baby has to spend time in the NICU for any reason, the timeframe listed above can absolutely vary.  I have done babies up to 2 months old*

DEPOSIT: A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at booking in order to secure a date for your session. The deposit will be applied to the overall package price. Please be aware, we will not reserve your date until the $100 deposit is paid. Thank you for understanding & cooperation. Also, due to the uncertainty of when babies arrive, I only book a set number of Newborn Due Dates per month, so it is recommended you book as soon as possible.  Once your baby arrives, a shoot date and time will be set within the first 2 weeks of the baby being born.  Shoot dates are scheduled Monday - Friday only.  Weekends are not available. Thank you for cooperation and understanding.

PA SALES TAX: All Services are subject to 6% PA State Sales Tax. 

SCHEDULING: Newborn sessions are taken best between 7-14 days old when your baby is very sleepy and flexible. Having your newborn session done within this time frame will allow me to get those adorable sleepy posed shots of your baby! With that being said, you can absolutely schedule a newborn session after this time frame, but it may be a little harder to capture those perfectly posed shots! *I would recommend that you contact me to set up your newborn session within the beginning of your 3rd trimester or earlier :) All Newborn sessions will be scheduled Monday - Friday after the baby has been discharged from the Hospital. No weekend time slots are available. Thank you for your cooperation & understanding.

PRE-SESSION CONSULT: All newborn sessions are tailored specifically to you and your baby and include a free pre-session consultation if requested by the client. All clients are asked to complete a Newborn Booking Form to help Kristin prepare for the session. The form will help guide the style, colors, and props needed for the shoot.  Once your session is booked and your baby arrives, you will receive a Newborn Prep Guide with plenty of tips on how to prepare for your baby s first photo shoot!

POST-SESSION: After the session takes place, Kristin will upload all proofs from the shoot to a private online gallery, where clients will get to choose their favorite images from the session. Proofing galleries are posted within the first week of the clients session date. Clients are asked to Select their favorite photos from the session within the first two weeks of the gallery being posted. This will help Kristin stay up to date on editing and get images back to clients within a timely manner. Turnaround time is approximately 7 business days. After the images have been professionally edited, the client will receive a link to download the digital images from the final online gallery.  

If you would prefer to receive a hard copy of the images, Clients can purchase a USB Drive of the images for an additional $50 fee. Please note, proofs are NOT included in the package. If you would like to purchase additional edited images that exceed the package limit, clients may do so for an additional $20/per image.    

PROFESSIONAL EDITING: As a Photographer and Artist, I take pride in artistically creating images and memories that Parents will cherish forever. I use State of the Art high, end quality studio lighting equipment to produce sharp images. I carefully hand edit each image with professional editing software, which is the main reason I only offer a limited number of edited images per package. I take pride in my unique editing style and only book a limited number of clients per month so I can provide each gallery its own personal touch!

PROPS: Clients will have full access to use all high-quality newborn props offered by Kristin Ann Photography. If you are looking for something specific, please ask Kristin ahead of time before making any purchases elsewhere. You may also set aside any special props you would like to include in your photos, such as special blanket or other items that have special  meaning to your family. It is recommended that you use very simple and classic props. Feel free to discuss all props/photo shoot ideas with Kristin during the pre-session consult.

CERFTICATION & SAFETY ADVICE: I am up-to-date on ALL Vaccines, including the Covid-19 Vaccine, Pertussis (whopping cough), and DTap.

Your child's comfort and safety are my TOP priority. I take great pride in being an expert in newborn safety, posing, and handling of infants. I have not only had hands on training, but I have successful completed my safety certification in handing newborns, as well as obtained my certification as a qualified newborn photographer. I am a current member of the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International. 

*Please be sure that anyone handling your baby for newborn portraits is (1) Certified in the safety of newborns & (2) Registered and Insured.
